IBAN or International Bank Account Number has been introduced in Pakistan on the instructions of the State Bank of Pakistan. It converts your existing account number into an internationally standardised format making it globally unique and recognisable.
The main purpose of IBAN is to facilitate the automatic processing of domestic fund transfers and remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis to improve the speed, accuracy and reliability of payment transactions
IBAN Format
IBAN in Pakistan will be a 24 digit (fixed length) account number. First 2 digits will be the Country Code, the next 2 digits will be check digits, the next 4 digits will be the Bank code and the last 16 digits will be the customer’s account number
Note: This calculator generates IBAN for JS accounts only. This tool only converts the entered number into IBAN format. The generation of correct IBAN is dependent on the correct selection of your branch and input of your existing JS account number. If incorrect details are entered, the calculator will provide incorrect IBAN. JS shall not be liable for any damages which may arise due to incorrect selection of branch and / or incorrect account number entered at your end.
