Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in enhancing internal and external communications, promoting employee engagement, and boosting our company’s public image. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating compelling content, managing media relations, and collaborating with various teams to execute effective communication strategies.

External Communications

  • Take full ownership of company announcements, including drafting, reviewing, and distributing press releases to relevant media outlets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, ensuring timely and strategic pitching of leadership interviews and company stories.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to design and execute integrated marketing and PR campaigns that align with the company’s brand and objectives.
  • Engage with both micro and macro influencers to amplify the company’s visibility and credibility across various platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve future communication efforts.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for media outreach and brand positioning.

Internal Communications

  • Partner with local leadership and HR teams to plan and execute a variety of employee engagement activities, fostering a connected and motivated workforce.
  • Draft and distribute clear, engaging company-wide emails and announcements that keep employees informed and aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that promote transparency, enhance organizational culture, and support change management initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from employees to continuously improve internal communication practices and ensure the effectiveness of messaging.
  • Create and manage internal content such as newsletters, intranet updates, and presentations to keep employees engaged and informed.
  • Support local leaders in their communication efforts by providing guidance, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and effectiveness in messaging.
Experience: At Least 05 years relevant experience
Qualification: Graduate from HEC recognized university
